Finishing up the day at work. Trying to get the house and yard all cleaned and ready for the big family get-together next weekend. It's fun to have all our family and friends over, but it sure is ALOT of work before and after it's all over.
I wish Madison well at the NBHA World Championships, she's already advanced to the finals on Saturday out of over 700. Haven't heard from Amy today, so not sure hhow she did. We'll be cheering her on on Saturday. Way to go!!!

My heart is very sad today - I learned last night that my daughter-in-law has asked my son for a divorce. Seems she needs to have more "fun" in her life. They have been married for 10 yrs and have 3 beautiful children who adore their father. I am hoping for a reconciliation. Marriage is probably the most difficult job anyone can ever have in their life time. It's something you have to work at daily and when those days come when your not having "fun" the next day may totally be joyous. I love you both very much and will be praying for all.

LOVE THE NEW OFFICE

Almost a week has gone by in our new offices at work. Our old office space was VERY small and cramped - also could it get VERY LOUD when we all had hard of hearing patients at our desks. I had only been there right at a year and it was too small. Not sure how Amy and Barb was able to tolerate the cubicles before I came and made it even smaller It has been so nice to be able to actually interview patients in a quiet area. I LOVE MY JOB and also the people I'm so priviledged to be able to work with. Thanks so making me feel at home over this past year!!!!

Monday Morning and New Office!!!

WOW, here we are in our new office - of course nothing is working right - lots of computer issues. Oh well, it'll get better. So good to be able to see out the window to a bright sunny day!!! -
Had the kids all weekend long - Amanda went to Tyler and met Shane for the weekend. Saturday I took the kids down the road to where some wildflowers were blooming and took some pictures. We had a great time, but sure was glad to have the house to myself Sunday evening. When they are all together they are quite a handful!!!!

Graduation 2009

Friday, June 5, 2009, started off an exciting day as Barbara, Amy and I were able to finally move ours offices to the 2nd floor. We now have a privarte area in which to interview patients and WINDOWS!!!!
Later that afternoon Michael, Braxton, Brittny, Lindsay and myself headed to Mineral Wells to witness a very joyous occation. We first went to Jordan's house to see him before he headed to the school to prepare for graduation. Ciara was there from San Antonio so for the fisrt time in over 6 years I had all my grandbabies together. Picture Time!!! After a few pictures at the house we all headed to Ram Stadium. I know that Kim was smiling down from heaven as Jordan walked across that stage to receive his high school diploma.
I love a you Jordan and I'm so very proud of you for all your accomplishments throughout your high school years. May you have many, many more great accomplishments in your lifetime.

May I begin by SALUTING the men and women who fight daily to keep our country safe to live in. THANK YOU!!!!
Billy and I had made plans to go on a motorcycle trip this weekend and I was able to leave work early on Thursday, so as soon as I got home we loaded up the Harley and took off. We had made plans earlier to go to Nashville with friends, but they were not able to go, so we decided to go to New Mexico instead. We headed up 287 to Vernon and then headed west. By sundown we had made it as far as Paducah, TX. Being a small town there was only one motel. I new the building had a familiar look to it, so as we signed in I asked what the building used to be. The man behind the counter smiled and asked me if I really wanted to know, I told him yeah and he told me it used to be a funeral home. I laughed and asked him if the spirits were friendly!!We slept very well without any ghost!!
Friday morning we left there heading for Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. We wanted to see the grave site of Billy the Kid. We arived in Ft. Sumner around 1pm(our time) after taking a wrong turn out of Clovis, which took us about 50 miles out of the way. We went to the "Billy the Kid Museum" there in town. While in the museum it started raining very hard, once the rain stopped we got back on the motorcycle and headed for the grave site just outside of town. There are 3 graves, Billy the Kids and 2 of his buddies that are encased in a metal fence. Seems that someone from Granbury, Texas stole "The Kids" headstone some years back. You know there is a war going on between Hico, TX and Ft.Sumner of who actually has the authentic burial place. Well, upon leaving the grave site it looked like it was going to storm so we went back to town and found a motel, Super 8 not Heavenly Devine Motel!!!
Saturday morning while eating breakfast in Vaughn it began to ran, so we doned our rainsuits and headed to Ruidoso. Upon ariving in Ruidoso we headed for Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino. I put $30 in a $1 machine, didn't last long, only 5 pulls and it was gone! So I headed for a quarter machine. Found a "Wheel of Fortune" and put $20 in, couple hits and it landed on the button for the wheel to turn. Ended up with $92, finialy quit when I still had $50. The local indian tribe had tables set up by the main entrance and were selling some of their handmade crafts. I bought a heart shaped necklace made up of an elks antler. We left there and headed over the mountain to Cloudcroft, ate lunch and was on the road again. We were suppose to have taken Hwy 82 east out of Cloudcroft, but again we took a wrong turn and headed west. "Of course you know it was my fault that we went the wrong way". You ladies know what I'm talking about!!! When we realized that we had gone the wrong way it was too far to turn around so we got out the old map and headed for El Paso. Oh well, never been to El Paso! We stopped at the Harley Davidson Dealership there. I've never seen a Harley Dealership soooo big, guess that's why they have the slogan "Largest in the World". Bought a few shirts, you know you have to have a new shirt a Harley Shop!!! Left there and headed for Van Horn and spend the night.
Got Sunday morning and headed home. The rain stayed in front of us most of the day. caught a picture of a rainbow. What a great ending for a great trip.
What a great time we had just being together. Love ya honey!!!!
